HERE WE ARE

The film was shot between 2000 and 2004. It is a story about two Slovak families in Kazakhstan. In order to help their children, they sell everything they have and move to Slovakia. They encounter Slovak reality, which is completely different than they expected. The film won 9 prizes at different domestic and international festivals. THE BORDER

The film won the „Mezi moři“ (Between the Seas) Prize for the best Central and Eastern European documentary film 2009 at the International Documentary Film Festival in Jihlava.
